I was born in Mexico and became an immigrant at age 27 when I left Mexico to live abroad. I’ve always loved helping. Before I became a therapist, I worked in the development sector in Mexico and the United Kingdom. Although I really enjoyed it, I realized that I was not getting the satisfaction of seeing the impact of my work in people’s daily lives. Now my commitment is to help people directly, that’s why I perform psychosocial evaluations and provide treatment to the most common disorders people suffer from (e.g. depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder) when they have been through domestic violence, a possible family separation, or deportation or any type
of traumatic situation.
